BigJD is a talk radio producer / host at 99.1FM - CJAM - Windsor-Detroit where he hosts uTalkin2Me, an interview show with a different guest every week. BigJD, recipient of the 2011 CJAM Jammy Award for Best Spoken Word Program, also produces / hosts a morning show for 99.1, BigJD & Lippo In The Morning, along with former JABBERCAST co-host Lippo. As well, he hosts & co-hosts a number of internet radio shows and podcasts. JD produces or has produced the following shows for OMS Entertainment:

    The Jabbercast - Wacky talk radio with BigJD & Lippo. A different subject every week. Occasional short interviews. News, tech-talk, song of the week and our infamous JABBERQUOTE brought to us by Steve & Larry. Now at 99.1FM CJAM Windsor-Detroit - BigJD & Lippo In the Morning, Thursdays @ 8am EST.
  • EZ Mac Show - All Mac all the time. News, rumors, gadgets, tips & more, with The EzMac Guys, Jeff & Mike. Still in production.
  • Whatchootalkinbout - A look at local Detroit area news, plus sports and entertainment. Co-hosted by Ryan "SweetLu" Lulek. No longer produced, but shows are still available.
  • The Jeff & Lana Show - Fun talk radio with Jeff & Lana. Personal talk, world events & more. No longer produced, but shows are still available.
  • The Rare Rock & Heavy Metal Show - The stuff you don't hear on the radio anymore ...or never did. No longer produced, but shows are still available.
  • The Big30 - The last home of The Jeff & Lana Show, the uTalkin2Me interview show and The Rare Rock Show. 10 minutes with Lana, a 10 minute interview with a different guest every week and 10 minutes of rare rock that never gets airplay. The Big30 is no longer produced, but shows are still available.

You can search all these shows as podcasts at the iTunes store. Or just search BigJD there. They'll all show up. JD formerly produced shows for the All Talk Radio Network in Las Vegas and WKBR , a local Windsor internet radio station.

NEW: JD now runs a local Windsor-Detroit internet-only radio station, WDIR. The station was officially launched in February 2012 after recieving their music license. WDIR is always on the lookout for new local Windsor-Detroit area on-air talent to increase the station's talk-radio programming. Contact WDIR from the website link above. Video / Film

JD is an honors grad of Specs Howard School of Media Arts (Southfield, MI) where he majored in their comprehensive RVF (RADIO, VIDEO, FILM) program. JD received all the top academic awards in both the RADIO and VIDEO & FILM programs, including Highest GPA in both areas of study. Aside from his work at 99.1 FM, he's head-writer for a Michigan film company, Rollin' On Detroit.

JD is an accomplished and award-winning screenwriter. His multimedia company, OMS Entertainment, is available for most audio / video projects including writing, shooting and directing documentaries, short films, corporate, commercial, training and wedding videos, even real estate video tours. He also heads the independent film company My Good Movie.

Aside from freelance video / film production, JD currently has 2 films in production in conjunction with OMS Entertainment, EP productions, and My Good Movie, as well as a film currently in production with Rollin' On Detroit.

JD (Jeff Oppen) is the founder of 80's Canadian power metal rock group Wicked Angel. They were signed to CDN Records in 2009, now with two CD's available from iTunes, Amazon.com and other online music retailers - Wicked Angel - The Remastered Collection - Vol's 1 & 2. JD now fronts Jeffrey David's BLUES CONNECTION, a very heavy blues rock band with an independent release through OMS Entertainment.
